School has started here in North Carolina! On Monday, Micah started his MWF 3 year old preschool class at the little Christian Preschool he went to last year. He's been working all summer to get over the fact that "Miss Ash-a-we" (Ashley) was not going to be his teacher this year. (Miss Ashley moved to Ft. Campbell over the summer.) :( But, we're thrilled to report that MJ absolutely LOVES his new teacher "Miss Jelly" (Yeli) & that he has friends from his class last year to play with. MJ is especially looking forward to "Lunch Bunch" and "Spanish" this year!

Today was Miss Lyds' first day of 1st grade. She was SUPER excited! It also took her about the length of this summer to get over the fact she wasn't going to be in Mrs. Edge's "Panda" room anymore. (She's now a "Turtle.") The thrill of being a real 1st grader, "just like Junie B Jones," helped! Her teacher also let her know that she has a ton of American Girl books that Lydia can borrow anytime she wants. That must be what won her over! :)
