John and Bree +3: Christmas Day 2009 - WARNING!!! Picture OVERLOAD!!!

Well, our Christmas Day started rather early this morning. Bree & John were woken up at 5AM by the sound of rustling paper & the jingling of bells... could it be Santa?!?! Oh no... it was REUBEN!!! Santa left "Lindt Chocolate Santas" in the kids' stockings this year but by the time Bree & John got out to the living room there was nothing left of the Santas but a few pieces of foil & a sheepish looking dog with his tail between his legs & licking his chops. Not exactly the start we wanted! Fortunately Bree was able to go back to sleep for a bit, Lydia didn't get up until 7am & Micah slept until almost 8am! Poor John wasn't able to go back to sleep but he had some "5 minutes peace & quiet" and decided to do some crossword puzzles. (He has to get ready for the crossword puzzle fun that happens at the Treusch's!)

Once everyone was up it was hard to hold Lydia back... she was VERY excited this year! Micah didn't really know what was going on but had a great time tearing into the wrapping paper. (And to think, today was just day 1 of "Christmas" for us!) Aunties and Uncles y'all better be in Kirkland EARLY tomorrow morning because at least Lydia will be ready and raring to go!
