Well it reached 107 degrees in Vancouver, WA yesterday. That is so disgustingly hot - especially for those of us without AC. We're looking forward to a much cooler day today with a high of only 97 (Ha!)
To beat the heat yesterday we invaded our good friends "The Hagerty's" for most of the afternoon and late into the evening to enjoy their AC. We'll be doing the same today as our house gets pretty gross when it's this hot. Plus the heat makes Bree (who is still in her 1st trimester of pregnancy) feel really sick. Luckily we've been able to sleep at night - It is currently 71 degrees (at 8:47am) and we've got all our windows open and fans going.
The video below is of Lydia and Rachel playing in the Hagerty's front yard while trying to cool off - notice what the spray coming out of the hose is called... "perfume." :) Aaaawwww - we have such girly-girls. :)
