That said, today Lydia was a flower girl for some friends that we met through John's experiences at UoP. We helped them through some "military-marriage" specific pre-marital counseling and today was their big day. Stephanie (the bride) was TOTALLY gorgeous and Nathan (new LT) was exceptionally dashing. :) However, before Stephanie walked down the aisle Lydia totally stole the show. Instead of just merely dropping the flowers like a normal timid flower girl, Lydia (literally) tossed them like they were "fairy dust" or something like that. They flew high in the air and then floated down and scattered around the floor - it couldn't have been more "Lydia." :) And THANK YOU to Grandma Ruth for making the dress - we recieved several compliments.
