Happy Easter to all! He is Risen! We started the day off with your typical "chocolate for breakfast" Easter morning. (Pictures are in the previous post) Then we rushed off to church - the dress Bree was going to wear somehow still had the "anti-shoplifting" tag still on it. (Yes, she paid for it!) So while John and the kids had their color-coordinated outfits Bree had to scramble to wear something different (not good when we were already running late.) She will be returning the dress. Anywayzzz... church was great. Really good music, really good sermon - just good stuff all around. After church our friends Bruce and Nicole came over for brunch with their kiddos, Rachel and Sarah Kate.
The menu was: Potato-Basil Frittata, Grilled Asparagus and Melone Salad (all of my favorite Italian ingredients asparagus, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, pine nuts, melone, olive oil, and fresh lemon juice... YUM!), sticky buns (that were heavenly!), and prosecco. We are all now very stuffed and sleepy - since the Mariners game is over (they won!), Micah is out cold and Lydia is "resting" we are going to use this time to lay down and enjoy some peace and quiet!

You guys look SO hip!! Ben needs to meet Micah's hair stylist... he really wants his hair like that but I always make him cut it! ;)
